Get the perfect tone, with brutality and clarity equally on hand, with the Microtubes B3K2 from Darkglass Electronics, an intuitive overdrive pedal for bass guitars that offers a defined and powerful overdrive with a simple layout. Using the Blend knob for wet/dry mix and separate Drive and Level controls, so you can fully unleash your tone.
The Tone knob controls the high-frequency content of your signal with a variable low-pass filter that sweeps between 3 kHz (counter-clockwise) and 8 kHz (clockwise). Two push buttons offer further refined control of your tone: Grunt engages a huge low-end boost to thicken your sound, while Mid Boost adds a subtle 6 dB boost from 300 Hz to 1 kHz, letting your bass cut through the mix better.
Blend Control The secret sauce of the Microtubes B3K2 is the Blend control, which mixes the clean input signal with the overdriven signal. The clean signal remains at unity gain, while the volume of the overdriven signal is set by the Level knob, allowing for fine control of the blend ratio.
